He is a former New Jersey Superior Court Judge and currently operates with partners with offices in Avalon, NJ. Judge Donohue has been representing the County of Cape May, New Jersey on offshore wind issues since 2021. He is the County’s point person on state and federal litigation challenging the NJ Board of Public Utilities and the federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Management offshore wind permit processes. Judge Donohue was instrumental in the opposition efforts that lead the Danish company Orsted to abandon its Ocean Wind One and Ocean Wind Two projects off the coast of Cape May County.
